A. Observation
The Crucible, begins with a scene from the Parris family. The father, Rev. Parris, is praying for his daughter Betty. Parris becomes mad and drives out there slave. Tituba, is the current slave of the Parris family. The doctors assistant, Susanna Walcott arrives with some news. Some time passes, then Mrs. Anne Putnam comes into the scene, Mrs. Putnam is a middle aged women who is not in the best health, mainly because of nightmares. Mr. Thomas Putnam, comes later. Another slave is introduce, and she is Mercy Lewis. Mary Warren is a 17 year old girl, who was out in the woods with other girls close to her age. John Proctor is a 30 year old farmer who is mean to Mary, and asks her to leave. An old lady, Rebekah Nurse is very respected, and checks the process. An old, but yet powerful man, enters. The final character thus far is the "witch" John Hale.

B. Interpretation
This story to me means that, it's the story of teens who go out and try to explor something new in their lives. But while they are out, a slave comes to show them, "the way of the witch". The girls become ill, after a strange night in the woods, and people become antsy. Matters are only made worse, when they church is already divided, is going to be more divided over this issue. I think towards the end of this book, we are going to see the fear of humans, allow there fears to control their actions.

C. Parrallelness
I cannot see myself as any of the characters. Not that I do not believe with their causes, but that is not my personal style. I am a very logical person, and logic motivates me. If something doesn't make sense, and there is no proof of it, then I would find it hard to believe. Therefore, I disagree. Because these people are reacting, based on assumptions.

D. Extra List
No offense, Mrs. Vega, but I do have to agree with what others have said. This is kind of a pointless section, dealing with the fact, pretty much everything else has already been listed.
